New Members Information Meeting
It was great to see so many new faces at our recent Information Meeting in the Market Yard for new Members as part of our “Do Drama” campaign. This is an initiative to get new people involved in Sligo Drama Circle as actors, directors or working backstage.
The evening showed us that there is lots of interest in getting involved in drama in many different capacities so the future is bright.
On the night, there was great interest also in our photographic exhibition, our costume display and our archive collection.
We’re now moving on to develop workshops in drama with this group of new Members. We are initially starting with some play readings. We hope to have a Saturday workshop towards the end of the summer and we are also looking into a rehearsed reading of a play for an audience later in the autumn.
