TYPE Free Theatre Workshops in Hawk’s Well

Theatre maker Kellie Hughes, will be developing a new theatre show, TYPE, at the Hawk’s Well Theatre this August, in collaboration with Italian movement specialists Oscar Valsecchi and Valentina Temussi, German composer/musician David Stalling and Irish visual artist/scenographer Michael Cummins.

You can become part of the theatrical experience presenting a first sharing of this new work-in-development this August. TYPE engages with our past, present and imagined future relationship with the workplace.

Starting with the routine of everyday life in an office, TYPE will present two office workers journeying simultaneously through their working day and life, delving into the tragedy, comedy, ritual, laughter, frustrations, daydreams and politics of the workplace along the way.

Meet the artistic team and explore the creative concept behind TYPE.

CREATING THEATRE WORKSHOP | TUES 15 AUG | 6-9PM
Explore ways to develop new work using a variety of literary and visual sources as inspiration.

MOVEMENT & PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP | TUES 22 AUG | 6PM-9PM
Develop skills in physical storytelling, movement clarity, articulation and prop manipulation.

WORK IN PROGRESS SHARING & AFTER SHOW TALK, TUES 29 AUG | 8PM
